Posted March 22, 2009 – 21:12 in: IPv6Hi!
First off, welcome to a new blog. It’s purpose is to spread information on running IPv6 networks, and to learn you new and exciting tips for IPv6 management.
As we reach the end of our 4.294.967.296 IPv4 addresses, we need to make the transition to the IPv6 system - to support nearly 340.282.366.920.938.463.463.374.607.431.768.211.456 addresses. That’s quite a lot.
This blog will therefore focus on everything IPv6 related. Since IPv4 is integrated in just about every electronics device (including our fridges, cell phones, watches, …), this is actually a pretty broad range. Its main focus, however, will be aimed at the hosting industry: ISP’s, content delivery, routing, LAMP/WAMP stacks, …
Stay tuned, as more updates will follow!
